ITWBN

Hi everyone,

Sorry about the lack of posts lately - I have had no wifi at home (thanks Vodafone....) and it is difficult to blog on my phone as it keeps hopping to photos! Anyway - finally!! Here is my Blog post about the recent Into The West Bloggers Network meetup, held in the Radisson Blu a few weeks ago. Firstly, I would like to thank Sinead & Saibh for organising such a fab day - it was easy to see the amount of hard work put into the day and I am already waiting patiently (ish!) for May.

On the day we had various different speakers - Kate from Cocoa Brown Tan, Siobhan from letz Make Up, Richie from Beutifi.ie, Marika from OMiG and last but not least....... The Galway Player!! We also had lots of time to mingle, eat & drink, and look around the various pop up shops. (ATIR Shapewear, Debenhams, Youngblood Cosmetics, Peter Mark to name but a few).

On the morning of the event, I met Sandra (https://ablushingcailin.wordpress.com/author/ablushingcailin/) and Kerri (http://bellaandvogue.blogspot.ie/) in Tuam and I traveled up with them. It was lovely to get to know some new people and compare blogging notes.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate the goodie bags that we were given! I couldn't believe it and I almost cried at the generosity, I am looking forward to reviewing all the products we were very kindly given to try out. Thanks to Cocoa Brown, McSharry's Pharmacy and all of the other contributors and sponsors.

I will be back to more regular blogging once I have proper wifi again,

chat soon

Hey everyone!

Over the weekend I was nominated for the 'Liebster Award' by the lovely "Thats That Blog" (http://thatsthatblog.weebly.com/) I am only getting around to doing it now as I was at the #ITWBN Meetup yesterday (I will have a big post on that tomorrow). The Liebster award is a tag from one new blogger to a few others to help with recognition. Not only is it helpful for everyone involved, it is a nice way to get chatting to other bloggers and get to know a bit more about them.

Rules for the Liebster Award:
1. Thank the person who nominated you
2. Answer the questions given
3. Nominate other bloggers who have less than 3000 followers and link their blogs
4. Create 10 questions for the nominees to answer
5. Notify all nominees by social media.

1. Where did the name of you blog come from?
I was about 108337 years trying to think of a name - I threw it out there on Instagram and a lovely girl called Kelly came up with "ChloesLittleSecrets" which is perfect cause I love Pretty Little Liars and the names remind me of each other.

2. If you could only blog about one thing ever again what would you chose?

Makeup Makeup Makeup

3. What is your dream Career?

I would love to have a regular beauty feature in a magazine.

4. If you could spend the day with 3 famous fashion/beauty personalities who would you choose?

Charlotte Tilbury, Jaclyn Hill and Rob Scheppy (I want to know every single beauty secret to do with the Kardashians).

5. What's on your 2015 wish list?

To save properly for a rainy day, to enjoy my interrailing trip in June and to attend more blogger meetups!

6. What is your favorite ever purchase?

Estee Lauder Advance Night Repair (Beauty) and a pair of black wedge heels from Primark which sadly are ready for the bin now. So comfy though :(

7. If you could go back to one era (style wise) which one would you chose?

60's 100%, shift dresses and midi skirts, what's not to love?

8. Where is you MUST see place in the world?

New York New York!

9. What have you learned from blogging?

I haven't been doing it long enough to know yet!

10. Where do you see your blog in 5 years?

I'd like it to be doing well but I would still just like it to be a hobby alongside my day job.

I would like to nominate:
SarahsBeautyBible (http://sarahsbeautybible.blogspot.ie/?m=1)
ABlushingCailin (https://ablushingcailin.wordpress.com/about/)
CardiganJezebel (http://www.cardiganjezebel.com/)

The questions are:
1. Why did you start blogging?
2. What is your dream career?
3. Who is your favourite YouTuber?
4. Favourite high street store?
5. Favourite beauty product?

7. Favourite place you’ve visited?

Superdrug, Boots & Poundland Haul + Competition Details

Hey guys

Hope you all had a nice weekend! I was up north and of course did a little bit of shopping.... Here's an overview of what I bought.

Firstly, I went to Poundland, just for the bronzer below. Loads of bloggers (in particular From matte to Metallic, where I first spotted it) have been raving about this, saying that it's an exact dupe for MAC's "Give Me Sun", and for only £1 pound, I said I'd have to give it a go! Looking forward to trying it out properly, it looks lovely when swatched though, I love really warm toned bronzers.

Next I popped into Super Drug of course. I was dying to get my hands on some Make-Up Revolution goodies. This "Vivid Baked Bronzer" in the shade "Rock On World"  really caught my eye. I haven't had a chance to use it properly yet but I just gave it a quick go yesterday and it's VERY pigmented, be careful! It cost £3.

I also picked up a hilighter from the same range - it's called "Pink Lights" but it looks more like Lilac to me. Anyway - we will soon see what it's like. Also £3.

I also picked up this faaaab eyeshadow palette from Barry M, I actually only got it for red colour third from the left, but I really like them all. They seem to be highly pigmented and very buttery. This only cost £6.59, so probably under £10.

I then went to Boots and picked up the new Estee Lauder "Little Black Primer" lash primer. I haven't tried it yet but it claims to lengthen and curl lashes, and it can be used by itself as a tint, under mascara to prolong wear, and over mascara to seal it, make it waterproof and reduce flaking. It will be interesting to see how this one fares out.

I am giving away all the goodies in the below picture - pop over to my Facebook (www.facebook.com/chloereidymakeup) and my Instagram (chloereidymakeup) for 2 chances to win!

Thanks for reading,

Chloe
